We don't simply put on the cover. SPGA prepares the pool, plumbing, filtration system, and applicable equipment for seasonal closure.

  • Final water-condition assessment
  • Pool preparation and water-level adjustment as required
  • Removal of ladders, handrails, and seasonal accessories where appropriate
  • Blowout and winterization of applicable plumbing lines
  • Installation of winter plugs
  • Pump and circulation-equipment winterization
  • Filter cleaning and winterization
  • Heater winterization where applicable
  • Salt-system or chlorination-system winterization where applicable
  • Existing safety cover installed and secured
  • Equipment-pad inspection
  • Photo documentation
  • Winterization record for spring reopening

Starting at $395 for standard residential pool configurations.

Larger or more complex systems may require additional labor, materials, or specialized winterization procedures. Any additional scope will be identified before additional work is performed.

Need a Safety Cover? Or Need Yours Replaced?

SPGA installs and secures existing fitted safety covers as part of qualifying pool closings.

If your pool has never had a safety cover, or your existing cover needs replacement, we can evaluate and measure your pool and deck to specify the appropriate fitted safety cover solution.

SPGA does not install traditional tarp-style or water-bag winter covers.

Close It Right. Make Spring Easier.

Months can pass between closing and reopening a pool. SPGA documents how the system was left, what was removed or disconnected, and the equipment's visible condition.

When spring arrives, we have a documented starting point instead of trying to reconstruct what happened months earlier.

Customers whose pools are closed by SPGA also receive priority access to our seasonal spring-opening schedule.

Close with SPGA. Open with confidence.

Want Us to Keep an Eye on It This Winter?

SPGA also offers optional Winter Pool Oversight during the off-season.

Periodic visits help us monitor the covered pool, water level, equipment area, safety cover, and visible conditions throughout the winter, so potential issues can be identified before they become spring surprises.

Ask about adding Winter Pool Oversight when scheduling your closing.
